The Saint Francis Xavier, a massive vessel capable of carrying 1,900 passengers, will embark on a weekly voyage from Manila to Siargao every Monday. The total travel time will be 28 hours, reaching the country’s surfing capital the next day. Unlike expensive airplane tickets, fares start at just ₱2,000 for super mega value accommodations, making Siargao more accessible than ever.

Onboard, expect a true cruise-like experience: a salon and spa, spacious dining halls, a cozy café, souvenir shops, nightly live band performances, karaoke rooms, an arcade, and even a clinic for peace of mind.

“We have a very big ship and a welcome dance will greet the passengers to showcase the hospitality and warmth of the Filipinos,” said Francis Chua, 2GO Travel’s business unit head. “It’s like we are on an international cruise ship. World-class and would give comfort to our sea travelers,” he added.

2GO is also eyeing more routes in partnership with the Philippine Ports Authority, Maritime Industry Authority, and Philippine Coast Guard.
