Triumph Motorcycles has officially unveiled its latest middleweight roadster, the 2026 Trident 800. The new-generation naked bike combines a muscular new design, advanced electronics, and the brand’s signature triple-cylinder performance in one agile, high-tech package.

At the heart of the Trident 800 is an all-new 798cc triple-cylinder engine producing 113 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 85 Nm at 8,500 rpm. Paired with a six-speed gearbox with Triumph Shift Assist for clutchless upshifts and downshifts, the setup promises smooth power delivery for both spirited rides and daily commuting. With a kerb weight of just 198 kg, the Trident 800 aims to be as nimble as it is powerful.

Triumph says the new motor offers a blend of high-revving performance and accessible torque. Highlights include forged internals, a triple-throttle body system, and a revised intake and airbox design for improved airflow and a throatier exhaust note.

The chassis is equally advanced, featuring a compact, rigid frame paired with fully adjustable Showa suspension, 41mm inverted front forks, and a preload- and rebound-adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is handled by dual 310mm discs with four-piston radial calipers, while Michelin tires ensure grip. Seat height stands at 810mm.

In line with modern expectations, the Trident 800 features a comprehensive suite of rider aids, including cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, and three riding modes: Road, Sport, and Rain. It also features Cruise Control, Triumph Shift Assist, and the My Triumph Bluetooth system, which allows for music, calls, and navigation. A 3.5-inch TFT color display provides clear, customizable information and intuitive handlebar controls.

Styling-wise, the Trident 800 features a sculpted 14-liter tank, brushed aluminum accents, and a sleek tail section for an aggressive stance. A raised muffler, gold alloy wheels, and a compact LED tail-light complete the sporty look. Color options include Ash Grey with Diablo Red, Carnival Red with Graphite, and Jet Black.
