LTO suspends the license of a motovlogger who danced on top of his bike for content.

A motorcycle rider from Binondo, Manila, went viral online after posting a video of himself dancing on top of his motorcycle while stopped at an intersection. The stunt may have garnered attention, but it also resulted in a 90-day license suspension and a show-cause order from the Land Transportation Office.
According to LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Vigor D. Mendoza II, both the rider and the registered owner of the motorcycle have been issued a show-cause order. In the viral clip, the vlogger can be seen standing and dancing on the motorcycle in full view of motorists and pedestrians along a public roadway.
The LTO’s Intelligence and Investigation Division, led by Chief Renante Melitante, demanded a written explanation from the rider as to why he should not be considered “an improper person to operate a motor vehicle.” Under existing rules, this offense carries a maximum penalty of permanent license revocation.
A hearing has been scheduled on August 20, and the rider was instructed to surrender his driver’s license before the set date. The show-cause order also warned: “Failure to appear and submit the written comment/explanation as required shall be construed by this Office as a waiver of your rights to be heard, and the case shall be decided based on the evidence at hand.”
Following the backlash, the motovlogger has since issued a public apology for his actions.
