Enhanced 2026 Honda CL250 With E-Clutch Unveiled

Honda has refreshed its light scrambler lineup with the launch of the 2026 Honda CL250, now featuring an advanced E-Clutch variant. The new model is set to hit the Japanese market on October 24, 2025.

The highlight of this update is the CL250 E-Clutch, which incorporates Honda’s innovative E-Clutch electronic control system. This technology allows riders to shift gears using only the pedal, no clutch lever required, making gear changes smoother and more effortless. The system automatically manages clutch engagement during starts, shifts, and stops, reducing “shift shock” and enhancing comfort, particularly for beginners. On the other hand, riders can still use the clutch manually when desired by simply pulling the lever, temporarily disabling the automatic control.

The standard CL250 also gets practical updates, including redesigned main footpegs for better ergonomics, improved seat materials for enhanced comfort, and a revised meter display that minimizes glare for better visibility under sunlight.

Color options include Pearl Cadet Gray for the standard CL250, while the E-Clutch model comes in Pearl Dusk Yellow and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
