2026 Triumph Scrambler 400 XC Officially Launched in the Philippines

Triumph Motorcycles is starting 2026 on a strong note with the unveiling of the Scrambler 400 XC, priced at PHP 404,000.

First introduced in India in May 2025, the Scrambler 400 XC expands Triumph’s growing 400cc lineup in the Philippines as its most off-road-oriented offering yet. The model builds on the success of Triumph’s entry-level range, which has seen strong demand in markets like India, where more than 3,000 units were reportedly sold in 2025 alone.

More Trail-Ready Than the Scrambler 400 X

Positioned as a sibling to the Scrambler 400 X, the new XC takes the familiar scrambler formula and pushes it further toward light adventure and trail use. While the standard 400 X already leaned into scrambler territory, the XC adds several functional upgrades that enhance its off-road credentials.

Key among these are wire-spoked wheels (a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear) paired with dual-sport tubeless tires for better performance on mixed terrain. A high-mounted front fender, small windscreen, brushed aluminum skid plate, and engine crash bars further reinforce its rugged, trail-ready character while staying true to Triumph’s classic scrambler styling.

Scrambler 400 XC: Proven Powertrain, Familiar Balance

Mechanically, the Scrambler 400 XC remains unchanged from the Scrambler 400 X, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It is powered by Triumph’s 398cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder TR-series engine, producing around 40 PS (39.5 hp) and 37.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Ride-by-wire throttle comes as standard, delivering a modern feel and smooth power delivery.

The bike also appears to retain the same frame and suspension setup as the 400 X, offering a balance between everyday road comfort and light off-road capability.

Pricing and Availability

At PHP 404,000, the Scrambler 400 XC sits at the top of Triumph’s 400cc lineup, priced above the Speed 400 (PHP 299,000) and the Scrambler 400 X (PHP 339,000). It will be available in three color options: Racing Yellow, Vanilla White, and Storm Grey.

With its added protection, spoked wheels, and more aggressive stance, the Scrambler 400 XC is clearly aimed at riders who want a small-displacement Triumph that looks and feels more adventure-ready.
