Triumph Unveils 2026 Street Triple 765 RX and Moto2 Edition

Triumph is elevating its middleweight naked lineup for 2026 with two high-spec additions: the Street Triple 765 RX and the limited-edition Street Triple 765 Moto2.

With the Daytona 765 no longer in the catalog, these new models sharpen the Street Triple’s sporting identity through upgraded suspension, race-inspired ergonomics, and premium finishes. The Moto2 Edition, limited to 1,000 units worldwide, sits at the top of the range, while the RX slots above the RS as a more aggressive, track-oriented option.

A Return to the RX Philosophy

The RX designation traces back to 2015 with the Street Triple 675 RX, which introduced a more focused, premium approach to Triumph’s lightweight naked. That legacy continues for 2026, following the positive reception of the Speed Triple 1200 RX. Both new Street Triple variants now use clip-on handlebars mounted above a precision-machined billet triple clamp, replacing the traditional one-piece handlebar and creating a more committed riding position.

Premium Components Across Both Models

The RX and Moto2 Editions share several significant upgrades that distinguish them from the RS. Both come equipped with fully adjustable Öhlins NIX30 forks paired with an Öhlins STX40 piggyback rear shock, Brembo Stylema front calipers, and sticky Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tires. Triumph also includes a 5-inch TFT display, Track mode for ABS, optimized cornering ABS and traction control, and its quickshifter-equipped Triumph Shift Assist system. Power remains unchanged from the standard Street Triple 765 platform, with the 765cc inline-Triple producing a claimed 128 hp at 12,000 rpm and 59 lb-ft of torque at 9,500 rpm.

Street Triple 765 RX: A Sharper, More Focused Upgrade

The new RX enhances the Street Triple formula with clip-on handlebars, aggressive ergonomics, a precision-machined triple clamp, RX branding on the seat and silencer, and a distinctive Matte Aluminum Silver paint scheme paired with a Diablo Red subframe and wheels. These refinements give the RX a more purposeful presence both visually and dynamically. Priced at $14,495, it carries a $1,500 premium over the RS but offers significantly upgraded suspension and a sportier riding position that better complements the bike’s performance potential.

The Moto2 Edition elevates the RX package further with extensive carbon fiber components, including the side panels, front fender, belly pan, and silencer end cap. Its seat features a dimpled texture and Moto2 embossing, while the silencer also carries a laser-etched Moto2 logo. The TFT display launches with a Moto2-themed startup animation, and each unit features an individually numbered billet triple clamp. This model stands out visually with a Mineral Gray and Crystal White color scheme accented by Triumph Performance Yellow highlights on the subframe and rear wheel stripe. As the most exclusive version of the Street Triple, the Moto2 Edition is priced at $16,495.

A Strategic Shift in Triumph’s Middleweight Lineup

For 2026, Triumph has discontinued the budget-friendly Street Triple 765 R, recognizing that most buyers preferred upgrading to the RS for its higher-performance package. Replacing the R in Triumph’s catalog, at least in terms of price point, is the new Trident 800, which starts at $9,995. By renewing the Moto2 Edition and introducing the higher-spec RX, Triumph is reinforcing the Street Triple’s status as a performance-focused naked bike.

Triumph’s chief product officer, Steve Sargent, emphasizes this direction, noting that the success of the Speed Triple 1200 RX demonstrated how riders respond to a sports-focused naked motorcycle with precision handling and premium components. Triumph is now applying that same ethos to the Street Triple family, aiming to deliver sharper geometry, higher-quality parts, and a specification suited for fast road riding or dedicated track sessions.

Availability

The 2026 Street Triple 765 RX will arrive in dealerships in December 2025, while the Moto2 Edition will follow in March 2026. No official announcement for the PH market yet.

With their refined ergonomics, upgraded components, and race-inspired styling, these new models underline Triumph’s commitment to delivering one of the most exciting middleweight naked motorcycles on the market.
