VinFast is pushing further into electric two-wheel mobility with the launch of four new electric scooter models and the completion of 4,500 battery swap stations in Vietnam.
The move highlights the brand’s serious commitment to making e-scooters more practical and accessible, a development that could also resonate with Filipino riders as the local e-bike market continues to grow.

Although many associate VinFast with electric cars, the Vietnamese brand also has an established presence in the two-wheel EV segment. Its latest rollout focuses on solving two common concerns among riders: having the right scooter for different riding needs and eliminating long charging times through a battery swap system.
The new lineup consists of the Evo, Feliz II, and the all-new Viper, all of which support battery swapping, along with the Amio, a pedal-assisted e-scooter designed for license-free use. Together, these models target a wide range of users, from daily urban commuters to students and first-time e-bike owners.

Among the four, the Viper stands out with a more aggressive design and a strong set of smart features. It comes equipped with a smart key system that supports location tracking and remote immobilization, LED projector headlights, and dual rear shock absorbers for improved stability on uneven roads. Power comes from a 3,000W in-hub motor, allowing the Viper to reach speeds of up to 70 km/h. The Feliz II shares the same motor output, while the Evo is slightly toned down at 2,450W. For riders looking for a license-free option, VinFast also offers the Evo Lite, which is speed-limited to 50 km/h.

All battery-swapping models are fitted with dual under-seat battery slots and use LFP or Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries. This battery type is known for better safety and longer service life, which is especially important for daily commuters. With two fully charged batteries, the Evo can travel up to 165 kilometers, while both the Feliz II and the Viper are rated for up to 156 kilometers under standard riding conditions.
Rounding out the lineup is the VinFast Amio, a lightweight e-scooter powered by an 800W motor. It offers a riding range of up to 65 kilometers on a single charge and has a top speed of 30 km/h. Designed for short-distance travel, the Amio is ideal for students and riders who want a simple, license-exempt electric scooter for city use.

Supporting these new models is VinFast’s rapidly expanding battery swap infrastructure. Through its charging subsidiary V-Green, the company has already completed the installation of 4,500 battery swap stations across Vietnam. VinFast aims to grow this network to 45,000 swap cabinets across 34 provinces and cities by the first quarter of 2026, setting up one of the largest battery swap ecosystems in the region.
According to VinFast, deliveries of the new electric scooter models are scheduled to begin in February 2026. However, there is still no news if these new electric scooters will reach the Philippines.
