Supply Chain Update: What You Need to Know About KTM’s 2025 Lineup

In the face of global supply chain disruptions, KTM continues to push forward, maintaining strong momentum for its 2025 motorcycle lineup.

According to recent updates, production at KTM’s Austria facility — responsible for several upcoming models — has been rescheduled to July this year. The shift was primarily due to supply chain bottlenecks affecting multiple parts suppliers. While delays are never ideal, insiders point out that KTM’s decision reflects a focus on ensuring top-quality production standards rather than rushing deliveries.

Despite the adjustments in Austria, production operations elsewhere remain unaffected. In fact, the company’s Indian plant is in full swing, producing the highly anticipated 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R, 390 Adventure X, Enduro R, and SMC R models without interruption.

For markets like the Philippines, the first shipments of these bikes are already in transit and are expected to arrive by Week 3 of May — great news for riders eager to get their hands on KTM’s newest small-displacement adventure and dual-sport offerings.

Meanwhile, KTM’s new 790 Adventure and 790 Duke models, manufactured in China, are also unaffected by the Austrian supply chain issues. Production is reportedly progressing on schedule, reinforcing KTM’s strategy of utilizing a global manufacturing network to ensure stability.

However, riders eyeing bigger machines such as the 2025 KTM 890 Adventure R, the 1390 Adventure R, and the upcoming 2026 KTM and Husqvarna (HQV) dirtbike lines might need to exercise a bit more patience. These models are among those affected by the Austria production reschedule — but considering KTM’s track record, the wait is expected to be well worth it.

In Summary:

While minor delays in Austria may impact the release timeline of select big-bike models, most of KTM’s highly anticipated 2025 lineup — particularly the 390 and 790 series — is on schedule and rolling out soon. For riders, the message is clear: KTM’s Ready To Race energy isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
